Taqueria Luna Rosa thrives on serving comfort food made with love for our customers. We have a food truck that we use for catering events such as weddings, birthdays, or even car shows. Our Story
Taqueria Luna Rosa started as a dream. The dream was to have a food truck and sell delicious food at events around the northeast Georgia area. We went from selling breakfast burritos out of the trunk of our SUV during COVID to operating out of a kitchen located inside of a gas station in Athens. We saved up for the food truck and eventually made the dream a reality by driving to south Florida to pick up our food truck. Soon after getting our food truck we decided to change our base to a little location on South Oliver Street in Elberton, Georgia. We were doing events at popular breweries in Athens on the weekends and serving out of our Elberton location during the week. We had great success from working the food truck at different events such as Cars and Coffee, different events at Southern Brewing Company in Athens and Monroe and Terrapin Brewery. Eventually our little Mexican restaurant became too small for our operation. After three years of working out of our location on South Oliver Street we decided to make the move to a bigger building on the main road of Elberton in 2024. The rest is HISTORY!
